4-U Electric & HVAC
Services

One licensed contractor for your electrical and HVAC.

POWER. AIR. COMFORT.

Panel upgrades, EV chargers, furnace and AC replacements, cold-climate mini-splits, and 24/7 emergency service across the Minneapolis metro. Permitted and performed under MN electrical license EA807270.

Why One Contractor

Why one contractor for both electrical and HVAC

Twin Cities homes are electrifying fast. A heat pump needs a dedicated circuit and sometimes a panel upgrade. An EV charger needs a 40 to 60 amp breaker and a load calculation. A finished basement means new ductwork, a mini-split, and lighting, outlets, and GFCI coverage to current code. When the electrical and HVAC sides of the project are handled by one licensed contractor, the load calcs line up, the permits get pulled together, and the inspector only comes once. That is how we work every day, under MN electrical license EA807270.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cross-service questions for homeowners considering combined electrical and HVAC work. Don't see yours? Call us at 763-301-4829.

Yes. We hold Minnesota electrical contractor license EA807270, and our HVAC work is performed by licensed mechanical technicians under the same roof. Every job that requires a permit is pulled, inspected, and closed out by the appropriate city authority.
Yes, and it usually saves money when we do. We run one combined load calculation, coordinate the permit schedule with your city, and stack any CenterPoint or Xcel rebates that apply to the HVAC equipment and the panel work. One dispatch, one walkthrough, one final inspection.
Waverly, Buffalo, Maple Grove, Plymouth, Minneapolis, Brooklyn Park, Elk River, and the broader Twin Cities metro. Roughly 50 miles out from Minneapolis covers our standard service area with no travel surcharge.
Yes. Loss of heat in winter, loss of cooling in a heat wave, burning smell, no power to the home, live exposed wiring. All are treated as emergency dispatch. We confirm the diagnostic fee before a truck rolls and prioritize safety-critical calls.
Light commercial yes. We handle small offices, tenant fit-outs, retail spaces, and multi-family under 4 units. For projects over that scope, we will refer you to a commercial-specialist partner if we are not the right fit.
Yes for any work that requires one. We pull the electrical or mechanical permit with your city, schedule rough-in and final inspections, coordinate meter pulls with Xcel or your local utility for service changes, and close out the permit when work passes inspection.
CenterPoint Energy offers rebates on qualifying high-efficiency gas furnaces. Xcel Energy offers rebates on qualifying cold-climate heat pumps, heat-pump water heaters, EV chargers, and the panel work tied to them. Federal tax credits also apply to many electrification projects. We identify the full rebate and credit stack as part of the quote and submit the utility paperwork on your behalf.
