Installation

Wiring and fixture installs done right the first time. From new-construction rough-in to finished-home ceiling fans, we size the circuit, pull the permit, and leave the walls cleaner than we found them. Minnesota license EA807270.

What We Offer

New-construction and remodel wiring

Full rough-in coordinated with your GC, load calculations, and trim-out after drywall. We work residential and light commercial across the Twin Cities.

Panels, subpanels, and circuit breakers

Main panel installs, subpanels for basements and detached garages, and dedicated circuits for appliances that need their own breaker.

Lighting fixtures, switches, and outlets

Interior and exterior lighting, dimmers, smart switches, and outlet installs or relocations. Old-work friendly so we can usually avoid drywall repairs.

Ceiling fans and bath exhaust fans

Wired and braced to code, including bath fans vented to the outside (not the attic) so you do not rot the roof deck in a Minnesota winter.

Security, landscape, and outdoor lighting

Photocells, motion sensors, path and accent lighting, and hardwired holiday outlets. All outdoor circuits are GFCI-protected and weatherproof.

Installation
Why It Matters Here

Built for Minnesota homes

From 1920s Northeast Minneapolis bungalows to new-construction in Maple Grove and Plymouth, we wire for the home you have (not a textbook diagram). Every install is permitted and inspected under MN license EA807270, so the work that gets buried behind drywall is the work you can trust in 20 years.

Electrical Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about installation in the Twin Cities metro. Don't see yours? Call us at 763-301-4829.

Yes. Every installation that requires a permit (new circuits, rewires, panel work, service changes) is pulled in your city and inspected by the local authority. We schedule the rough-in and final inspections and stay on-site when the inspector arrives. Work is performed under MN electrical license EA807270.
Usually yes. We fish wire through existing wall and ceiling cavities, use old-work boxes, and patch only where absolutely necessary. Older plaster-and-lath homes (common in Minneapolis and the inner-ring suburbs) take a bit more time, and we will walk you through any unavoidable access points before we start.
A straightforward ceiling-fan or fixture swap on an existing circuit is usually 1 to 2 hours. Adding a brand-new fixture where there was no wiring can run 3 to 5 hours depending on attic access and finished-ceiling conditions. We will give you a firm estimate before we start.
Yes, for residential and light commercial. We coordinate with your general contractor on the rough-in schedule, handle the load calculations, and come back for trim-out after drywall. We work across Hennepin, Wright, Sherburne, and the broader Twin Cities metro.
A single-circuit addition (new outlet, dedicated appliance circuit, or light fixture where no wiring exists) typically runs $300 to $700 installed in the Twin Cities metro. Larger projects — whole-room wiring, service panel work, or rough-in for a remodel — are quoted by scope. We give you a firm price before we start.
We flag it before we proceed. If the existing wiring is knob-and-tube, ungrounded two-wire, or aluminum and it affects the circuit we are adding to, we will walk you through the options — extend with properly rated materials, remediate the affected run, or plan a larger retrofit. We do not leave unsafe conditions undisclosed.
Yes. Dedicated circuits are a common request for home offices (20-amp for workstations), chest freezers, sump pumps, and any appliance that trips the shared circuit it is on. We run a new circuit from the panel and put it on its own breaker. Takes 2 to 4 hours in most cases.
Yes. Labor and materials are covered for one year from the date of install. Manufacturer warranties on fixtures and devices are separate and vary by product. If something we installed fails within that period, we come back and fix it at no charge.
